While visiting his older sister in college, Executive Chef and Founder, Rance Ruiz, discovered and fell in love with Chicago stuffed pizza. Every trip to see her would include at least one stop at the local pizzeria. Unfortunately, there were no restaurants at home in Orange County, CA where he was able to satisfy his craving for Chicago stuffed pizza, so the journey to create his own began.
Rance made his very first pizza pie in his parent’s kitchen at the age of eighteen. After years of improving his recipes and searching relentlessly for the finest ingredients, he became well known for his delicious pizzas. Creating the best Chicago pizza possible is his passion. Rance only uses the finest ingredients possible and strives for perfection in every pizza pie. Quality food is definitely the number one priority. The dough, sauce and even salad dressings are all made from scratch. Rance’s Chicago Pizza offers three types of pies: Stuffed, Pan and Thin; with fresh salads, appetizers, wine and a variety of beers on tap.
